Poker question

Nah, I don't bother. I normally just keep an eye out for who seems to know what they're doing and act accordingly.

By the way, you're a Stars type. Why are all of the SNGs I import into Tracker showing zero buy in and zero winnings? Is there something I should be doing? Party worked fine.

I think I've mentioned that in this thread before, Tracker is a pain in the arse for anything other than tracking positional/hand leaks. You have to import tournament summaries for Stars, which involves requesting 5 hand histories and then setting up an address that Tracker can download from or importing them manually. Really not worth the effort if you're playing even 5 games a day.

Basically, TourneyManager for tracking, Tracker for leaks - unless you're playing cash games.

Ah right, what a twat. It works fine for Party from just the summaries that save automatically to your hard drive. You're right though, requesting tournament summaries every time you play is too much of a faff. I still haven't had a proper look at what tracker does in terms of leaks etc. It all looks pretty complicated.

Currently fucking around with an ATC strategy on the 5.50s, lots of fun to play and although it's way too early to say it looks pretty profitable if you're disciplined and can change gears at the right time.

Sorry, "any two cards", you should download the 2006 WSOP, catch up on your lingo. :)

If there's a sport (or anything else) with more abbreviations and jargon, I'm not aware of it.

Just got dog's abuse in an SNG. Ended up the reeeeeally short stack with 4 left, and the three blokes left in seemed to be pretty pally with one another. Anyway, ended up winning the thing, taking them all out one by one as they whined and whined about it. :) I just kept posting "don't cry" in the chat box, to which they actually kept responding to tell me they weren't. Every time one of them got busted out they were wishing the remaining ones good luck against "the fish". I don't normally bother responding much to the chat, but they were getting so annoyed I couldn't help myself. :)

Made it all the better when I won the last hand on a full house versus his flush. <_<

I don't see enough banter on there, really. One bloke went out ninth a couple of days ago and just said "You guys are all *****", nice way to break the ice. :)

Step by step tutorial for importing into pokertracker here

Cheers for that link, didn't bother with the gmail bit, but very helpful. I had thought it was going to be a much bigger pain in the arse to do for Stars than it is once that's set up. It does now seem to do everything TourneyManager does, although not as prettily.

He's an ape, I doubt I could tbh.

Shouldn't you be playing poker or something?

I'm on my lunch break, back to it now.

I don't play much now, don't have the time.

What's up with that, I thought you wanted to be a professional?

Eh? Where does that conversation randomly spring from? :(

It's from the Halloween thread, as much as I hate on-topic conversation, I didn't want to drag the thread away from a decent Brock bashing.

Clicking one of those little arrow-y things in the quotes would have answered your question btw. :o

Small point in reference to the 'second rate soccer teams' comment.

888.com currently sponsor Middlesbrough FC, last years UEFA Cup finalists, 2004 Carling Cup Winners and the club who recently gave England their new manager.

Were not second rate!
