Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I think we've been well in control, just need the goal [crosses fingers]. Might speed up the striker buying mind.
wykikitoon 20734
Aye Just too many long balls. Its fecking annoying as there is so many good passers in the team
Shearergol 0
Apart from Duff, Parker, Emre and Given, would you be bothered if any of our players were replaced? I know it's early in the season, but we're playing fucking shite. 4-5-1 is clearly a system we cannot play with the players we've currently got in the squad. I know we need to move on, but Bellamy would be ripping the shit out of this team. Any chance of Dyer being back by the second leg?

Shearergol 0
Hehe Emre has been solid tonight 174926[/snapback] Agreed, probably his best game for us. Helps that Nicky Butt is there covering him though - shows that he plays much better in a 3 man midfield. EDIT: Charlie coming on for Emre (injured?). Arsenal won't be happy now he's cuptied in Europe 2ND EDIT: Maybe he's not coming on yet. 3RD EDIT: He's on now Fucking hell, I've got the commentary skills of John Barnes! Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Camera man is picking out the tottie. A mate of mine went on a stag weekend in Riga earlier this year, said the talent was outstanding.

Play to the strengths of the players, surely?
walkinthedog 0
job done but we desperately need an intelligent striker who can make runs and take chances in the box. Duff got in some good crosses for him whoever he is.
Guest Patrokles
Can't be too many complaints unless people expected us to win 5-0.
MattM4 0
We were shockingly poor in the last third. Plus Parker really needs to work on his shooting.

And if we play 4-4-2, who should we drop? Zog? I don't wanna do that.
Brock Manson 0
I thought Emre had a very good game. Constantly winning the ball back and supplied the corner for Bramble to head in. Ventspills were shite though.
Papa Lazaru 0
Emre definitely the pick of the toon players in an unexciting game where we did the job required and people will have got that bit more match sharpness in readiness for the premiership kick off. Tom 14013
We did the job. But that was boring to watch
Isegrim 9901
Emre certainly was the man of the match, orchestrating the game and getting involved as much as possible. And it was apparent that Duff was the only one with a bit of pace. IMHO it was a bit frightening how some of our players especially at the back could easily get overrun. Moore was more the player I used to know, giving a way a couple of really stupid free kicks and not giving the back four that kind of stability that he was capable of at the end of last season.
