spongebob toonpants 4133
I've said this in the past, but this thread asks, nay demands, for a repeat. Dolly Parton did an absolutely magnificent cover of Knocking on Heaven's Door. 175286[/snapback]

Toonpack 9943
All along the Watchtower = Dave Matthews Band, the live in Central Park version is immense There's a crackin version of Paradise City featuring Fergy and Cypress Hill on Slash's new solo Album (on the Aussie or Canadian Versions) not on UK version I don't think, which is a pisser !!!!! maggiespaws 0
There's a crackin version of Paradise City featuring Fergy and Cypress Hill on Slash's new solo Album (on the Aussie or Canadian Versions) not on UK version I don't think, which is a pisser !!!!! I was led to believe that it was one of the bonus tracks on the Classic Rock version - it's not Shame really as Fergie's track on the album is canny. Oasis' version of My Generation was good although Liam would struggle with the 3rd key change when doing it live and their cover of Slade's - Cum feel the noise was also good. Noel did an acoustic version of You've got to hide your love away which was OK IIRC. As previously mentioned, Hendrix coving All Along the Watchtower is better than the original, as is Cocker's cover of A little help from my friends. Kula Shaker did a mint cover of Hush by Deep Purple. They really made it their own.
ewerk 31200
I heard Ben Harper's version of The Drugs Don't Work on the radio yesterday and thought it was pretty good. I got home and downloaded it and I was wrong.

It's impressive if you listen to the rap version first and then their cover. They've completely re-worked it and made something better than the original. Not heard that, but sounds like what Ben Folds does with Bitches Ain't Shit.....or Ben Kweller does with Ice Ice Baby.
