Renton 21017
If this means no more hand luggage on planes I'm going to become LeazesMag. 174143 Just get yourself a see-through man-bag. They are gonna need to sort this out though - flights without an ipod will be canny tedious. I hate terrorist knobends. Get a proper job tbh. 174144 I doubt I can carry a weekends worth of clothes in a see through bag. Did anyone see that Channel 4 program on muslims? Sorry to go all LM again but it's sickening to think that perhaps one quarter of British muslims would have celebrated if these sick bastards had succeeded (although we need to wait for the full story etc....). 174147 It would be sickening to think, so we can be grateful it's not the case tbh. 174201 Did you see the mentioned program I'm on about? It's not the case if you take Muslims as a whole group, but if you look at some subgroups (e.g. young muslims from deprived areas) you will find that there is a lot of sympathy for suicide bombers such as the 7/7 bombers. Besides, even if it was just 1%, which I would think is a big underestimate, it's way too much. No doubt the Dispatches survey had flaws (it was obviously underpowered for one), but I thought the overall message of the program was interesting and sadly accurate. There seems little hope that Muslims will integrate into this country like other cultures and this will mean we will have to put up with this shit for years, maybe forever. Meenzer 15332
Richard Hawkins, of Scaynes Hill, told the BBC News website: "I have just come back from Gatwick North Terminal having given up trying to take the early morning flight to Amsterdam. "The added security precautions are causing absolute chaos as everybody is obliged to check in and all passengers are being hand searched. I am sure that these extra precautions are necessary. "At 0545 hrs this morning, the check-in area was so crowded that there was a Health and Safety risk. BA staff were doing what they could but there appeared to be nobody concerned about crowd control. "For example the escalators up to departures were still running and passengers had extreme difficulty leaving them , due to the crowds awaiting check in. I would question whether BAA has a crisis management plan or indeed the staff to implement it." Sounds GREAT.
