The 21-year old Nigerian is subject of transfer speculation with Premiership clubs Newcastle United, Chelsea, Portsmouth and Spurs being linked over the weekend. The pacey forward asked for a transfer earlier this week and is set to leave the Italian champions due the arrival of Hernan Crespo. Tottenham Hotspur was reportedly interested but when they heard of interest they decided to withdrawn all negotiations. According to a Tottenham spokesman the club wanted to avoid another snub in favour of Newcastle United. Meanwhile, are trying to persuade Egyptian striker Hossam Mido to return to London, but it's widely expected that he will reject a move back to Lane.
