Radgina 1
oh I can't hold a grudge at all. now some would say this was a good thing, but it does tend to lead to getting screwed over time and again by the same people. 172021 i can give you lessons.... Toonraider 0
I know some of you have said its too late to change how you are now and you're resigned to that, but surely once you have identified your real flaws, surely thats half way to rectifying things? I realise now (in my old age) that i've only really come to know myself properly the last few years.

ewerk 31195
I'll agree with the shy thing, which I sometimes try to overcome with a bit of friendly joshing which is often interpreted as me being rude. I try not to be PC, I'll say things as they are. I can be a stubborn cunt. Condescending. Impatient. Very, very, very lazy. Easily addicted e.g. smoking/gambling. Can't resist temptation. But generally I'm still very happy being me.

Which I suppose helps more when shit goes wrong. When things are nice, it's nice to think that it's all important and enjoyable.

Mags 1
I am stubborn, opinionated, cynical, unforgiving, sometimes overly sensative, and procrastinate terribly. While the sarcasm, assertiveness and brash manner are sometimes offputting to some I see them as strengths and as such say simply... 'Deal with it.' Radgina 1
My shyness amongst strangers comes across as aloofness. Which I don't like. 171554 Actually, that describe me pretty much as well. One reason why I haven't been to a piss up yet - when I do I hope people don't think I'm aloof - I'm just shy! Of course, none of this applies to the internet. 171568 Me too tbh, although I'm not as bad as I used to be. 171571 Same here. Although with me, it tends to be misinterpreted as being miserable cue 'cheer up it might never happen' comments, whereas I'm an optimistic person who just tends not to talk that much in big groups of strangers and doesn't smile inanely. This happened more when I was younger - maybe I'm mastering the art of banal small talk! 172187 My sisters boyfriend suffers from the same....says he doesn't do "small talk". One question tho as this puzzles me, how do you actually get to know someone if you don't start off with small talk...

When it's with a friend or whatnot then it doesn't seem particularly like small-talk, because there's a connection and you can riff off each other. I find it very difficult to discuss shit I don't care about without someone I have no interest in being friends with, whereas I have friends who are brilliant at having dull conversations with people they'd rather not be talking to.
