NEWCASTLE United have given midfielder Amady Faye permission to speak to Charlton Athletic about a possible move to London. The Senegalese international, signed from Portsmouth in January 2005, was left out of the squad that drew 3-3 with Spanish outfit Villarreal at St. James' Park on Saturday evening. After that friendly, Roeder told nufc.co.uk: "Amady Faye is in a situation where we have allowed him to talk to Charlton. "Now we have to wait and see if he makes the move to London."
