Although I do maybe think that the team is better without an Emre-Parker central midfield partnership. But Emre has great touch, doesn't get knocked off the ball, has shown decent workrate this pre-season, etc, etc. To be fair, considering last season was his first, and it was interrupted by injuries and handicapped by having Souness in charge, I think he's shown more than enough. 171738[/snapback] 174940[/snapback] Not convinced one OK performance against shite opposition proves your point tbh 175172[/snapback] Well, it certainly went some way towards debunking your 'no work rate' one!
