Scottish Mag 3
Valencia schemer Pablo Aimar has left Valencia to join Real Zaragoza in a €11 million (£7.5 million) deal. The talented Argentina international had fallen out of favour at Estadio Mestalla but his reputation is such in Spain that his capture will be seen as a noticeable coup for Zaragoza. Aimar has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal and will take home €1.5 million (£1 million) a year for his exertions having concurred on personal terms with Real officials. During his stay at Valencia Aimar picked up two Liga titles, a Uefa Cup and a European Super Cup as he quickly established himself as a keen favourite of the club's faithful. On his day, Aimar, who made only fleeting cameo appearances at the World Cup, has proven he has few equals and he will be eager to capture such form in the somewhat less intense surrounds of Zaragoza. Shearergol 0
Used to be quality, but he's been quiet for a couple of years now. One of the "next Maradona" lads when he was younger. Whatever happened to that Argentine who played for Boro?
