Jimbo 175
Intertoto Cup Saturday, 22 July Kick-off: 1500 BST Updates on BBC Five Live and this website Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi is in contention to start the Intertoto Cup second leg away to Lillestrom. Ameobi came off the bench in the first leg 1-1 draw after missing several days' training with a hip problem. He could come back in attack alongside either Albert Luque, who equalised in the first leg, or James Milner. Australian international Craig Moore is included in the squad after returning from his post-World Cup break, but the defender is not expected to figure. Newcastle (from): Given, Harper, Krul, Carr, Taylor, Moore, Bramble, Ramage, Babayaro, Huntington, Solano, Butt, Parker, Emre, Faye, N'Zogbia, Pattison, O'Brien, Ameobi, Luque, Milner, Carroll. # Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder: "I'm very positive and I cannot look beyond anything but us getting through and going into the Uefa Cup. "I have noticed a big difference in the players since we arrived in Norway. "They now have last Saturday's game under their belts and they are a lot sharper, not only out on the training pitch, but also I feel in their minds." MattM4 0
I'm finding it hard to feel confident about this game... Could another one of those early season blows. The club making all the right noises as usual... we'll see how it goes on the pitch.

The Mighty Hog 526
Letting slip that N'Zogbia's attitude isn't as good as it should be considering he came from nowhere. We are stronger cos Luque isn't playing but Shola is, apparently.
