goldman 0
He scored from a penalty when the keeper had already dived. Who needs Owen with this world beater at NUFC?

Ally 0
He's our best and most consistent defender. Bramble is a better player but lacks his consistency.

Scottish Mag 3
He's our best and most consistent defender. Bramble is a better player but lacks his consistency. 153594 Whilst he has looked a better player than he had in recent seasons, he only played 8 league games for us and in a team that as a whole was playing well.. aimaad22 4222
He is very very solid, but Ive noticed that he isnt this confident when playing for Newcastle. His first few games for us were very poor, he improved then but never looked as confident as he did in Germany. Hopefully he'll carry it forward to the next season. Isegrim 9909
I am more than pleasantly surprised (© Freddy Shepherd) about his performances for Newcastle at the end of last season. Despite the number of bookings he got that he showed that he can do more than just kicking after players in the style of Tw*terazzi. So to me he looks a nice back up but nothing more. And in comparison to Boumwrong you could field a sandbag and it would look a better defender than the Frenchman.

Dr Gloom 22188
i like him. he's the sort of no nonsense defender we've been crying out for. canny distribution too
DavB93 0
He's a canny defender, had a nightmare of a game against Charlton away last season though. Still think Taylor is our best defender.

He probably got a text from Souness for saying that. 153616 "Brian McBride is, pound for pound, as good as any striker in the Premiership." One of his many rediculously ott statements this world cup. I may not have been totally serious...
