Scottish Mag 3
Newcastle United midfielder Emre has had his ban from international football cut from six competitive games to four. The Turkish intrnational's original suspension was handed down for his part in the ugly scenes which followed his country's World Cup play-off defeat against Switzerland in Istanbul last November. But Emre and Swiss star Benjamin Huggel - also sidelined for six games - appealed against their punishment. And FIFA yesterday announced that both players have had their suspensions cut by a third. Papa Lazaru 0
Shame, the more international games he's suspended for the better for NUFC as he won't miss games, be tired for games or get injured and miss games!
