manc-mag 1
I'm half day as the big screen in Manchster has been hoyed off and I wouldnt have stood a chance of getting home in time otherwise. Mint. Predictions then. NOW! Come on you 9-5 monkeys! 2-0 England

Gemmill 46141
2 or 3-0 England. And I predict Rooney will play some part in the game seen as the specialists have flown out a day early. They've arrived this morning and are away to run some tests on bionic foot boy.

(I know he can change it up until kick off in injury situations) 149024[/snapback] According to this Dr. Wallace bloke he's running the tests this afternoon and an announcement may be made after as to the conclusion. If they've got any sense they won't make any grand announcements though, as it has to be unsettling for the rest of the squad. I'm not sure on the deadline for a teamsheet, but I wouldn't have thought it would be much more than an hour before kickoff.

Ted Maul 0
2-1 to England. Another uninspiring performance, media call the team worse than shit until a few days before the Sweden game when they get built up again.
Isegrim 9909
5-0 to England with a Owen hattrick. I think when Trinidad conceade their first goal they fill fall apart.
Papa Lazaru 0
I think it'll be a convincing win, with Owen getting his tournament up and running and a good performance all round. Though if its hot as expected it'll be interesting to see what happens second half! I'll go for 3-
Gemmill 46141
According the BBC News "the England squad were kept up until 2am by the noise outside their hotel near the station in Nuremberg." Pre-emptive excuses.

Meenzer 15742
Well I'll be watching the game while tidying the house and hoovering. Bloody ungrateful friends turning up for the weekend on the night of an England match. Might be for the best, though - I confidently predict a dull 2-0 victory.
