Toonraider 0
Well looks like west brom will sign Nathan Ellington on Monday http://www.sportinglife.com/story_get.cgi?...ual_120355.html I wouldnt have minded giving him a chance at Newcastle. He's young and proved a very consistant goal scorer in the championship.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Dunno about that. A Championship striker I would look at for the Toon would be Dean Ashton. Can't see Norwich selling him if they are near the top come January though.
Brock Manson 0
Are you kidding? Ellington isn't good enough, will get the odd goal as he does have good technique but there are better championship strikers. Healy, Cresswell, Kitson, Ashton

Lita does seem a decent buy.
Toonraider 0
None of us know if he would be good enough for us though, he hasnt been tested. I rekon he'd be good compared to the other alternative..........NOTHING!!

Ellington has the pace, strenght and technique to make it in the Premiership in my opinion, the others dont.

Kitson is a good striker but unfortunately is a bit too injury prone. Apparently has a bit of an attitude problem as well. But still not sure Ellington is better, Roberts usually had alot to do with Ellington playing well from what I'd seen and when he came to the Mad stad he was never anything special. He's one of those strikers who'll jump from a relegated team to a promoted one each season really.
