Lazarus 0
These things look lush - no cabinet/box At first glance they might seem at bit on the steep side but it probably works out at around £140 (ish). http://www.qualifi.com.au/index.jsp?referr...l&product=24062 (ps - theres a hi-fi shop in gosforth that has a pair of £12000 speakers and even more expensive electronics in the window )

You can pick out every instrument and locate every distinct instrument in a different position in the soundstage. It puts me off, hearing the sound of every piano key being pressed (not the note, the thud of the thumb on key) or every movement of fingers over the string. Some of the people on this forum are mad.... http://www.head-fi.org/ You get daft stuff like people with a £500 pair of headphones specifically for listening to Tool, and they must have 300 hours of white noise played through them to optimise the output.
