ghoulert 0
Spurs keen to sign Pompey ace Taylor Tottenham boss Martin Jol has set his sights on signing Porstmouth left-back Matthew Taylor for a fee of £2.5million, according to reports. The Dutchman has been a long time admirer of the former England Under-21 full-back, who was a key member of Harry Redknapp's side which avoided relegation last season. The former Luton man, who moved to the South Coast for £750,000 in 2002, is closing in on his 150th appearance for Pompey, but if the Spurs chiefs get their way he will be forever stuck on 149. Taylor's possible arrival could spell the end of Callum Davenport's career at White Hart Lane. The former Coventry centre-half has reportedly been told by Jol that he can leave the club in search of regular first team football. 2.5mill is a nice price for such a player, we should go for him aswell imo! Shearergol 0
Think we already have gone for him, but he doesn't want to move quite as far north.
Guest alex
Supposed to have turned down a swap move involving Faye.
Craig 6700
We went for him when he left Luton IIRC. Turned us down in favour of Pompey - think that's enough to confirm he suffers from LeTiss Syndrome(*) * - no way in hell am i moving up North....
