I'll probably watch more than last time, it should be good football and the kick off times are a lot more convenient than they were in Japan/Korea in 2002.

Two per day will be my limit though, I think watching three games in 24 hours is a bit of a stretch.

You all should feel sorry for us antipodes. 11pm, 2am and 5am kickoffs.

The Australia-Brazil match is on at 2am in the middle of winter. God help those poor bastards that go to public squares to watch.

142589

Fuck that woody my boy, what about us poor Australians that are going and yet you can't get a ticket out of those bastids at the FFA for love nor money!

Go Koreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea!

142591

That's exactly why I decided against going and trying to get a ticket there, and bought a widescreen tv instead. I'm using the change from the TV (about 2 grand) to go to Japan in August. Still would have liked to have gone to Germany but I'll get to South Africa if we qualify.

Seeing as every single goddam game is on while I'm at work, I'll have to be selective and avoid the 'net to watch certain games on my own very special tape delay.

:fuk::lol::rolleyes::slap::lol::rolleyes::angry:

I liked it better when the games kicked off at 3:00 AM

Can't fucking believe it! They had one more draw for tickets which they said they would notify people by the 31 May. 7pm I'm getting ready to leave work and no tickets, so pissed off I compose a terse email expressing my disappointment, sent it to the email address they tell you not to send things to (but it is active anyway).

Next morning come to work open the mail box and !!!! tickets to see the Brasil and Croatia matches

The BBC will also have live coverage of England's first knockout clash- if they qualify.

First choice of quarter-final also goes to the BBC, which would again be England if they make the last eight.

And any England semi-final or final appearance would also be on the BBC as well as ITV.

Just found out there that all World Cup matches, including England, will also be shown live on UKTV G2. Am I the only person who finds this a little strange?

Don't worry you may miss them but you can wear your Paraguay and Sweden shirts under your work clothes and still feel part of it all!

It is a bit odd like, not sure why anyone would rather watch the matches on UKTV G2 than BBC/ITV.

Have you ever tried hypnotism for your fear of flying? I'm doing a project on it at the moment, a lot of people who try it find it works for them despite it usually being a last resort.

And I'll be watching as many games as possible.
