snakehips 0
You know when you type the first few letters into the address bar and about half a zillion (slightly over the top) examples of previous sites comes up? Well, is there any fuckin' way of deleting them as they aren't half annoying. Oh, and to hide from 'others' where we've been, of course!

snakehips 0
Thanks for trying Rikko, but I couldn't get any joy from your instructions. Don't forget I'm a total thicko when it comes to computers! I went into Tools and Internet Options but I couldn't see anything that said Clear Browser History. This may sound thick, well of course it is, but 'firefox' ???? What is that? I'm on Windows XP!! Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr *puts on pointed hat* Edited May 29, 2006 by snakehips
snakehips 0
Now don't let me down on this, people. I have told my colleagues that the Toontastic squad know everything and can solve any conundrum. Mark my words, there'll be trouble otherwise. Tears at bedtime an'all. Craig 6700
Are you using IE? Just go to Tools>Internet Options>General>Clear History. 142399[/snapback] Nope, that won't do it, he needs to disable auto-complete and THEN clear the cache. To do so, do the following: Tools>Internet Options>Content>AutoComplete. Uncheck the box next to 'Web addresses' and click OK. Follow HoH's guide to clearing you history to complete the task
