Nobby Car Crash

He could end up being locked up for this:

From the mail via F365 so probably shit:

NOBBY NOBBLED

Newcastle's stars will be the first in the Premiership to return to training this summer. The Toon boys will be back at work on June 28 to ensure no slip-ups are made in their quest to qualify for the UEFA Cup via the much-mocked Intertoto competition. However, they might be missing one of their better players.

The Daily Mail reports that Nolberto Solano 'could yet face a one-year jail sentence for the car crash in Peru that wrecked his £70,000 BMW.'

The Toon star's car flipped over in midair twice (which sounds very impressive) and burst into flames after Solano hit a tree. The Peruvian, on whom the film 'Unbreakable' was apparently based, walked away fine and dandy, but the commissioner of La Molina is investigating the incident to see whether Solano is guilty of endangering the lives of passers-by. If Solano is charged and found guilty, he would face a year behind bars.

There was something in the paper yesterday to suggest he'd been to a party and had a drink, although denies being drunk when it happened. Hope nothing comes of that

As has been said, Solano is a national icon in Peru. I doubt he'd get locked up even if he was found guilty.

Guest alex

He's already been banned before and he used to drive to training sometimes while he was banned too (if it was raining). FACTOID!
