David Kelly 1260
Taken from Sky Sports: Birmingham City have played down suggestions Olivier Tebily and Julian Gray refused to take part in the club's final Premiership game of the season at Bolton. It had been reported the pair made themselves the pair made themselves unavailable for selection for Steve Bruce on Sunday, a game Blues lost 1-0 at The Reebok. However, Birmingham have stated the reports are untrue, although they have confirmed they had a troublemaker in their midst who has now departed. "Reports that Olivier Tebily and Julian Gray refused to take part in the club's final Premiership game at Bolton are completely false and inaccurate," read a statement on the club's official website. "Without naming the individuals involved, the club can however confirm that the main instigator of any problems is no longer at Birmingham City football club." Meanwhile, Blues are being linked with a £3 million move for Cardiff City hot-shot Cameron Jerome. Bluebirds manager Dave Jones reportedly has to sell before freshening up his squad, and is considering selling the 18-goal striker to raise much-needed funds. Bruce is on the look-out for striking reinforcements after the club opted against retaining high-earner Chris Sutton.
