If Souey was going for Douala surely it would be for the position behind the frontman, the position seemingly reserved for LBM. If they're demanding £6mil with possible competition money coming their way chances are they will stick to that price. Compared to Fulham who reportedly need the money for their summer spending, so perhaps after negotiating would accept below their valuation. So why switch to a potentially more expensive player? Souness appears to have had his heart set on LBM since Jan. Seems to me Sporting are only saying we are involved to force Boro to up the offer.
