And the FA have shot themselves in the foot by appointing him before the World Cup - if we have a shocker McClaren will take some of the blame. Well at least the rest of the country knows how we feel - three months of 'scouring the globe' for the best man for the job, then picking the safe option who they already employ in another capacity.
