Scottish Mag 3
Emre's agent is trying to engineer a return to Italy for the Newcastle United midfielder. The Turk's representative Ahmet Bulut claimed earlier this month that the 25-year-old is happy to stay at St James' Park, less than a year after arriving from Internazionale. But Bulut has now revealed he is in talks with two Serie A clubs regarding a return to Italy at the end of the season. Milan and Palermo have been credited with an interest in the talented schemer, who has endured a stop-start campaign due to injury. Newcastle are reluctant to offload Emre, just 10 months after splashing out almost £4 million on the player. Bulut, though, is hoping he can tempt The Magpies into a sale after confirming his intention to help Emre return to Serie A. "I hope with my help he can return to Italy," Bulut is quoted in the Sunday Sun after telling Italian journalists of his aim. "But it won't be easy because Newcastle don't seem intent on selling him. "We are in contact with two Italian clubs I cannot name. "But first we must find agreement with Newcastle."

Bombadil 0
I know agents are generally scum, but why is it that most foreign players seem to have particularly greedy cunts acting as their agents?

Is that an agent admitting to his player being tapped up?

Roeder out.

Craig 6700
Any offers north of £4m and I'd say sell ! 129973 What did we pay for him? 130041 £3.5M 130055 £3.8m 130057 It was €5.5m whatever that equated to in £'s last summer. Signed a 5 year contract as well so we have 4 years to be paid up if we sell him on! EDIT: €5.5m = £3.8m so CrimsonFault is spot on....
Shearergol 0
Reckon we could get someone who can manage to play more than a handful of games a season to be honest. Wouldn't be too sad to see him go.

Brock Manson 0
Thats's just fucking typical of NUFC, sign someone who has a bad injury track-record and give them a 5-year deal!
