snakehips 0
"And his mission will be to turn United's Academy into a global talent-spotting machine to rival that built by Arsene Wenger at Arsenal." Erm, am I missing something here? The acadamy is a place to nurture talented footballers. A SCOUTING NETWORK talent spots for these potential acadamy attendees. Lazy journalism. Bombadil 0
Newcastle caretaker manager Glenn Roeder has played down speculation chairman Freddy Shepherd is ready to offer him the job permanently. Asked what he would do if Shepherd offered him the job, the 50-year-old Roeder told BBC Radio Five Live: "I'm not expecting him to say that. "He's given me no indication he's going to do that. We'll have to wait and see. "I'm waiting to see what the chairman's new management structure is - hopefully I'll be part of it in some shape." Interesting quotes. Maybe he does expect to be made director of football?
