Bellamy's 17 goals

might well prove enough to guarantee Rovers that UEFA spot ahead of us. It's simple - if Souness hadn't fallen out with Bellamy, he wouldn't be playing for Blackburn now and we'd be looking at European football next season. Ok maybe a bit of an over simplification but it still really fucks me right off knowing that Souness' childishness and petulance may have contributed to this state of affairs. As for the 'we got Owen though' argument - i'd happlily habe both of them, they're really not that similar players...

they why complain about it if you dont have to read it, people are allowed to make topics and post about whatever they feel like

it would be a pretty crap message board if you just ignored every post you disagreed with and only replied to those you did agree with. hardly an advert for democratic debate ;)

He's had a pretty injury-free season too hasn't he.

He's actually missed quite a bit of it with injury on and off, especially in the first half of the season, which makes the 17 goals (and numerous assists) even more impressive.

It is also true that if he were here and not at Blackburn then we'd be finishing well above them.

But you can't argue with the fact that team spirit improved vastly after his departure. The results speak for themselves ;)

And you'll find that he's single-handedly destroyed all morale and team spirit at Blackburn which is now just filled with people who all hate him and who know for a fact they'd be better of withut him and the annoying goals, assists, pace, skill and the like!

I think after half a season in the wilderness at celtic and a whole off season of all the big clubs not touching him with a barge pole he shit it big style, realised he isnt in fact ronaldinho and got his head down and kept his mouth shut!
