Gemmill 46016
Just took Man United for the win at 15/1. 65 minutes left so it's worth a punt.
GafferTape 0
Lampard fouled Ronaldo quite badly in the build up to their goal as well.
Gemmill 46016
That's my bet dead. Brilliant from twat boy Cole there though.

Gemmill 46016
They're giving it the "That's why we're champions" bit now. Er no lads, you're champions because a fucking billionaire bought your club days before you went under. Having said that, I hope the Man United fans that are there are REALLY suffering. Gemmill 46016
Looks suspiciously like Rooney's just broken his foot. Oh dear, nightmare for England tbh. Only 2 quid mate.

Craig 6700
Listening to it on TalkSport - Alvin Martin is adamant it's a world cup ending injury. Speculating ankle ligaments....

Gemmill 46016
I'm gutted for Rooney. I was looking forward to actually being able to support him as a player as well. Real shame that he won't get to go to the world cup.
TheInspiration 1
Really annoyed by this actually. I doubted we'd win, but no Rooney would just be awful. I'm sure he was really looking forward to it as well. Hopefully Owen won't get injured again...
Craig 6700
I agree... We were left to wonder 'what if?' at Euro 2004 and it's sad say that if this is serious to rule him out, we'll probably be saying the same about this World Cup. We are a decent outfit, but Rooney is a big, big player for us....

TheInspiration 1
I swear England must be cursed with foot injuries. Spoiled 2002 for Beckham, Gerrard had to miss it, Rooney's injury ended 2004 in sadness, Owen's only just recovering...
ewerk 31195
Disappointing from a neutral footballing perspective but couldn't have happened to a nicer lad.
TheInspiration 1
Disappointing from a neutral footballing perspective but couldn't have happened to a nicer lad. 129547 I'm not saying he's all of a sudden become a model pro, but this season his attitude certainly has improved, which I find very pleasing. Gutted tbh.

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
We are a decent outfit, but Rooney is a big, big player for us.... 129544 Massive. He's the difference maker, no one to replace him. We're fucked if he misses out, which is sickening as this is our best chance in a generation to win it. I was looking forward to see him at the World Cup (though, the Rooneymania by the English exiles here had already become really annoying...). Bizza 105
They say he limped back onto the coach, It can't be that bad or they would've taken him to the hospital just round the corner fom the ground.
