TheInspiration 1
Stephane Guivarc'h FWD Auxerre £3,500,000 Surely the very worst striker we had in that period. Did he score a goal for us? I think I remember him failing to score in the WC 98 - quite some acivement given that he was the sole striker in the French squad. 129823[/snapback] I believe he had one shot on goal in the whole tournament. Not too bad. Imagine how good he would've been once he settled into the English game...

Grimbo 0
The style of the team changed overnight when Dalgleish joined. Out went the adventurous attacking style of Keegan and in came sideways European stlye football. I used to always comment on how, rather than hitting a team on the break - a Dalgleish team would always let the opposition get back into their defending positions before we would attack them. Unfortunately, with the exception of Bellamy - we haven't really seen much dynamic attacking football since!
