My dad would call me wassick, which is spookily similar. I was nicknamed 'knackers' by him when I was a kid which my mates picked up on and used to call me. Didn't stop till I was about 20. Bastids.

My Dad used to (and sometimes still does) call me a 'daft apeth'

What the fuck is an 'apeth' - think it must be of Cumbrian/Lancashire decent... :icon_lol:

And now forever at piss-ups too...!

I don't know if I've spelt it right, not that I could look it up in the English dictionary...! It sounds like garlic....so I suppose it could be warlic...?

Biology teacher would call stupid kids "Doylum"(sp?)..

I've also heard "Goyt" and "Shep" from older folk... no idea what they actually mean.

Tell you what I find fucking annoying is when a particular person uses a word to describe something and other people around him copy him...

Alan Brazil calls people that he thinks are fools "a tube". And then suddenly the other presenters on TalkSport are using it.

And someone at work used it the other day - FFS!
