Did you see Pardew run over to the fans and do a little dance when they scored?  Quality. ;)

Yeah, I saw it on MOTD2. Then he ran back to his bench, went for a high-five with someone and missed completely. ;)

That was excellent, but fair play to the bloke he's done an excellent job so far.

As for Boro their fans inability to fill allocations and grouns for big matches is embarassing and seeing them dumped out of both cups ina week will be reward enough for them!

Reet, I've got £20 on with a filthy smoggie that they'll get knocked out tonight (double or quits on the tenner I lost to him when they beat Roma  ). Anyway, there must be some way of offsetting any potential loss I might make with him by backing Boro to win tonight with the bookies.

Can someone please find out what price Boro are to go through tonight cos I can't get on bookies sites from work. Thanking you.

Oh and if you could do the maths for me too - i.e. how much I'll need to put on and whether it's worth it, that would be most appreciated. :icon_lol:

It's not so much that I can't do the maths, I'm just thinking if I put the bet on (£20 at 6/5) and they lose I'm down £20 I otherwise wouldn't have been. Whereas if they win and I've put £20 on, I'll only break even (well, I'll be £4 up). I can't work out whether it's worth it. :icon_lol:

20 quid on a 6/5 will give you 44 quid back including your stake

I knaa that man! When I said I was struggling, I didn't mean I couldn't do basic multiplication. It's just the whether it's worth it angle that I'm struggling with.

It's pointless for a 4 quid profit you may as well just risk it with the first 20 quid!

If you put £50 on Boro, you'll get £110 including your stake back. To offset the potential loss, I'd recommend £12.50 on them to go through, which would see you get £27.50 back (a net gain on the bet of £15 and you'd only be £5 down overall). Personally I wouldn't bother though.

Surely if Boro win you'll be down to the smoggie whatever you put on?

Aye, in the sense that I'd have to hand money over to the dirty pig.

Cheers alex, don't think I'm gonna bother.

By the way, remember the geezer who backed Greece in Euro 2004 then hedged his bets by backing a load on Portugal in the final, I bet he was gutted.

Have they sold out? WoW

There was an arguement on another board yesterday between boro supporters and brum supporters about who had the most fans. Needless to say it looked like a version of my Dad's bigger than your dad when one is a pygmy and the other a dwarf.
