Happy Face 29 Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 There was going to be a final season 6 with 12 episodes, but (creator) David Chase had too much story to fit into those 12, so he proposed to HBO that he do an 8 episode mini season 7 as a finale.
