Stifler's Mom 0
Linksys router and a Belkin card. Don't bother with a Belkin router though. I had to take a couple back because they overheated. You should be able to get a deal for a router and adapter at PC World for around £50.

Gemmill 46141
If you're buying from PC World ALWAYS look on their website first for what you want. I've bought things from there that were £120 if you just went to the shop for them, but £80 if you paid for them online to pick up instore. You just pay for them online and then you have to wait an hour before you can go to the shop and get them. Tip from the top! Also re Telewest - I see they've introduced their version of Sky + (TVDrive). Anyone got it and if so is it any good?

Gemmill 46141
Ring and tell them you're shifting to Sky man. They'll sharp find a special deal to put you on - point out their current introductory deals and say you want some of that to stay with them. I'm gonna do the same with Sky (half price for 3 months is their current effort for new customers whilst the old ones get fleeced).

Fact is Telewest are taking the piss, posting flyers thrugh my door with fantastic introductory offers for new customers only. What about customer loyalty, the bastids? Mind, I don't pay as much as Whacky. Are you getting some specialised channels Whacky?

JawD 99
Me think me gets it wrong somewhere. Im paying BT for BB and phone at around £40 a month and Sky around £45 a month plus Sky Box Office at around £10 a month. Also been considering Sky + but they want £150 for the box and £10 a month more.

Happy Face 29
Seriously, £45 a month on TV, is that not exessive? It's more than I pay for ANY amenity. Is TV more valuable than water? What do sky offer that could possibly be worth nigh on £600 a year? Every show on there is available on DVD and would come in for less than that. It can only be worth it for the sport, but even then, Skysports news is free anyway. Aren't you better off spending the money in the pub and letting them pay for Sky? Gemmill 46141
Just rang Sky, threatened to leave and join Telewest and they've given me 3 months at half price (£18 a month instead of £36), and told me to ring back in 2 months and they'll see what they can do for me again. 0870 8502801 is the cancellations number and it takes 5 minutes - their arse goes pretty much straight away - if anyone fancies it. Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I've got a BT phone package which is very reasonable, Tiscali broadband (no probs at £14.99 p/m) and a freeview box. Nothing to complain about really except itv have taken Men & Motors off the freeview channels and replaced it with some shite called itv play.
