nufc4ever 0
PFA YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR The six nominations Darren Bent (Charlton) Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) Anton Ferdinand (West Ham) Aaron Lennon (Tottenham) Cristiano Ronaldo (Man United) Wayne Rooney (Man United) Fucking pathetic, especially upon seeing the one in bold. PS I'm not saying he would have won it, obviously either Fabregas or Rooney will do so, but it would have been nice to see his contribution acknowledged. Ally 0
Lennon looks canny but he's not exactly played all season, N'Zogbia has, and on the whole has played well.

adios 717
I'm not sure N'Zogbia's achievements over the course of the season are up there with some of the other players listed.

TheInspiration 1
N'Zogbia has scored 4 and I thnik 7 or 8 assists. Think overall Lennon has been better. Steve Davis should be ahead of both imo.
Guest CrimsonFault
To be fair, he's done nothing special this season. I think Lennon is only in because of Spurs' position in the league.

Craig 6700
N'Zogbia hasn't exactly set the division apart tbh. He hasn't even been far and away our best player so I'd have been bloody amazed if he'd been included. Time some people took the black and white tinted specs off from time to time me thinks... TheInspiration 1
I think Newcaatle players are overrated quite a lot by their fans. "If it wasn't for Souness, we'd be top 4" Nah.
Brock Manson 0
He was one of our most productive players whilst the rest of the team were churning out some absolute dross under Souness and is definitely a player for the future. I tihnk it is a little unfair that his contribution to the team has gone unrecognized, but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. It is the award Jenas won anyway. All of which I said first time I saw them BTW.... Having said that, Lennon is too.. So easy this talent spotting like

I think this was obvious after his first few games, allowing for the fact the Yeading game may have been a one off, even against non league opposition, it was unfortunately confirmed pretty soon afterwards. Overall the premiership is too physical and aggressive for him, a professional should have seen this however before deciding to buy him or spend big money. What galls me is Souness [the "professional" who is still paid for his "expert" views on sky] said he was a very good player, he said he was a captain, a steadying influence and the replacement for Woodgate. He's the man of the moment, but I don't think he's that bad, just not good enough for us. And I'm not a professional and I can see this, and certainly that he isn't what Souness said he was. 8m quid gone. Just like that. Twice more than we got for Bellamy. Fucking joke. sweetleftpeg 0
Personally, I don't think any NUFC player deserves to be anywhere near a nomination for PFA awards. To be fair, isn't this the one players and managers vote in? Not like a panel picked them.

Guest alex
Don't the nominations have to be in by January or something too (for the PFA)? Meaning the awards are really for the 12 months prior to then rather than this season.

sammya 0
I think your man N'zogbia is class. Lennon has played well whenever i've seen him tbf. Sissoko not being on there is a shocker. Don't think fabregas has been good for the whole season. Davis can feel aggrieved.
