Check it again now, I think he's writing a message.

Oh yeah, you're right. Amazing how nimble these 777s are nowadays and how clued up the pilots are. 👍

Wife went to go see her mate last night.  Her mate's recently come back from climbing Killimanjaro so went to go see her about that.  ON her return to shitty Leeds too, she was involved in a car accident (shes fine) so see how she was about that.

Anyways, landed at Heathrow and no luggage which she was expecting as she had two stops on the way back.  She had a tracker thing in it so knew where it was and so did the airline.  She flew back up to Leeds anyway and got told it would follow on.  She got home.  Next day went to go get some stuff, in the afternoon.  Driving down the road, this bloke drove out of a pub carpark and T-bones her causing her car to be a right off.  Thankfully nobody was hurt.

I asked as anyone normal would; 'Was he over the limit?'

Wife - 'Don't know, police didn't come'

'Oh, why?'

'Nobody was injured and the insurance are sorting it'

'Oh, but she reported it'

'No, insurance are sorting it'

'Aye, but it still needs reporting'

'Oh I don't know'

Fuck me.  These two are educated people.  But If I had been T-boned by some cunt coming out of a pub car park I would be calling the law and getting this cunt breathalysed. I would also call 101 if not and get it logged!

Not to mention (as a polis mate once told me) get them there and an ambulance for your sore neck/back to get checked - you have a claim.

Surely she doesn't need to make up stories about seeing a mate who's just come back from a "climbing holiday". 🙂

wykiki is Toontastic's Brian Potter. Forget about the bike, from now on I picture him going everywhere on a mobility scooter with his beige Lord Anthony anorak on, happy with nothing and no one that he sees.

 I’m not sure what’s more mental. Their submitting that copy or their editor going “Aye, nice work, let’s put that in the paper”

also, the line: …a highly experienced dabbler….

sounds like me trying to convince myself I didn’t have a problem in the 90s

I judged the article purely on the URL and thought "chutzpah" is a new word for them.

Then I remember she is a breast cancer survvior and felt a bit bad about myself.

Happy now so-called Gemmill?

So first of all, let’s just put to one side that it’s 3am and I’m wide awake looking for rug inspiration on Facebook marketplace.

So this ad pops up  . Not sure what it either has to do with rugs or me, especially now I’ve lost weight.

I mean I was obviously intrigued and didn’t know this was a thing

But have to say, now feel a little bit sorry for Agnes, all alone and “he” is just not up to the job of massaging her breasts.

3 stars
“Well, he does his job, but after a while it doesn’t feel pleasant”

(Alas Toontastic won’t let me upload Angela’s post as I have reached my image limit  )

I also do not know how long “a while” was.

Had an interesting chat with one of my directors this morning.

There's a lad who's leaving. I get on with him as does most of the office.  The director and MD though fucking hate him.  He's frustrating to put it.  Personally I get on with him, he's a good lad who's kind hearted, but seriously on the spectrum.  He's got ADHD or something that affects his work.  I've done a few projects with him and worked out a way of working with him as to keep him focused.  He's fucked a few clients off by ignoring shit etc.  If he's not interested in it he won't do it. It's that simple.

The main gaffer isn't confrontational and this has lead to this lad over the last 8-9 months just taking the piss to some extent.  He comes in dressed like a fucking tramp most days despite us having some dress code and he fucks off for hair cuts whenever he likes etc.  This has resulted in some frustration amongst some.

So this morning I was speaking with the director on who's going to take over his projects when he leaves.  We then got talking about his new role and I said I think it will be a good move for him and he seems motivated over the last few weeks and think it is good for him and good for us.  I tried saying I don't think it's good for us as a business losing him as when he's focused he's a good lad to have.  The director went on saying he should be focused every day and wouldn't listen that everyone is different and some need a focus and a plan.  He then said 'He can't even be focused to dress appropriately every day'.  I thought I can't leave this, so asked why as his line manager and director hasn't he pulled him up on that.  His reply was 'It's easier to leave things as he doesn't like to be told what to do'

I don't agree with this.  If he doesn't like to be told what to do there are processes as a business we can go through.  The last resort, sack the cunt.  So what this guy is saying, in the future if someone else or others act like this, it's fine, they can get away with it.

FWIW. This lad when I have worked with him wasn't like that and I think he just has a beef with the main guy and this guy.  I just think he needs a focus and managing differently to get the best out of him.  We delivered two cracking jobs, on time and the client has come back a couple of times with other jobs so we/he must have done something right!
