Unfortunately, one of my offspring lives in that fly infested, smelly, unkempt, taxi driver attraction that is South Shields, so I have to visit on the odd occasion; however, rest assured that I have had all the necessary inocculations for setting foot in south tyneside. Gives me the collywobbles just thinking about South Shields. Do I detect a little Spanish City has been jealousy? The 'Spanna' is longgggggggg gone, I'm afraid. Onwards and upwards Howay the Bay ! The main road has been opened up behind it, meaning the front is all pedestrianised now, and the whole place is waiting for development.
