Love the camaraderie and mutual respect between actors and writers when they do well. Great to see tbh.....

I'll let his repost of Wraith slide this time seeing it gave an unexpected bit of light entertainment. #Oscars2025

Btw, it’s bad enough at the best of times but what a particularly vomit inducing spectacle this years Oscars are

I've only heard bits and pieces. Ive always found it mental though, the clip of that country, and there's a fucking war going on, and a self indulgent prick like Adrien Brody wants 6 minutes to tell everyone how tough things have been for him.

I remember Tom Hanks at some awards ceremony talking about the cast of Band of Brothers as if they'd actually been in a war.

I’ve barely seen it, because I’ve pretty much instantly switched off. It’s more the idea of it in the context of the times. Not that I’ve cared about it in terms of who wins etc since I was a kid pretty much

I try not to watch any clips on the news about it let alone watch the thing. Top of my personal cringe list is when someone British or Irish wins it then totally turns into a Disney Epcot version character of who the yanks perceive them to be so an Englishman starts acting all bashful saying 'gosh, this frightfully exciting' etc, etc.

I regard it as an industry award night- I’d definitely not watch the North East Parking Control Annual Award Dinner, live from the Village Hotel in West Allotment.

I view the Oscars the same way, as it’s the same thing.

Granted, with nicer tiddies.
