"There is no evidence of murder" - She got convicted of seven murders and eight additional attempts at murder. Admittedly, I am no legal expert but I assume there must have been some evidence of murder.

 

It's just a case of shit care and natural causes - the fact that all of the deaths occurred when she was on shift, and the rate of deaths was unprecedented is just a coincidence.

I don't think the written messages are proof of much tbh. People write strange things, and if it all had been down to chance she might well still have felt guilty. Honestly don't know enough about the rest of the case against her. However, things like this, I leave entirely to the professionals in medicine, psychology, statistics etc, and the judiciary.

I am not sure it is. Both highlight intent which is the most damning thing but the longer sentence explains a motive.

I've listened to a podcast about the trial.  It's fucking hard listen but I find the thing psychologically interesting.  A large part of the case is based on stats.  But there is evidence of her having memory boxes etc.  But in terms of a smoking gun or witness no there isn't any 'hard' eveidence.
