I know this isn't news to anyone on here, but fuck me, in the last 12months twitter and the Daily Mail have gone absolutely bat shit, right wing, Q anon, national explorer level mental. Literally unreadable now bollocks to a level that makes Facebook look well moderated.

Dipper spent all Crimbo wankered.  Came in after crimbo said he had tonsillitis and felt awful.  Went to make a brew and he was telling me how he couldn't remember Crimbo he was arse holed every day.  I said he is probably feeling rough because of alcohol withdrawal.  'Nah nah' That Friday goes to docs who give him anti-biotics.  I laughed and said he cant drink on them and its Liverpool v Man Utd that weekend.  Then last Weds he goes to Poland.  First thing he does is google if he can booze on em  Which he obvs does.  So from last Weds to Sunday he's in Poland getting smashed.  Was in yesterday with his poorly poorly voice on.  Comes in this morning, he's got more anti-biotics and is off for a blood test today.  Cunts like this fucking deserve to be charged by the NHS.

He clearly has an alcohol problem which he needs help with but to booze on meds and then just say its not that. Fuck me.

I mean to be fair despite popular received wisdom, there's no real pharmacological reason not to drink with antibiotics with a few exceptions - metronidazole being the main one. Obviously drinking when you are ill isn't recommended and you're likely to aggravate stomach issues you may have with the antibiotics.

From what you've said this bloke has quite a serious alcohol use disorder and it looks like it is only heading one direction. I want to feel sympathy but from what you've said with his interaction with his family and work etc he just sounds like an arsehole. Maybe one day he'll self reflect one day but maybe he won't. I don't know how he can be given work responsibility in the mean time though, sounds like you can't rely on him. The NHS is there for everyone though, even people like him.

Finally off the antibiotics here on Saturday. Thought I'd take some probiotics to repair my gut and have been up for 2 hours during the night with insane stomach pains.

Googled it and apparently it's a thing when you start on probiotics. So fuck them, I'll just eat homemade sourdough and I made some disgusting sauerkraut over the Christmas so I'll pile into that as well.

Kimchi with some rice is easy to smash down.

Did you make the sourdough?

Aye so I've got my own starter, and I make flatbreads sometimes for lunch which are made in 10 minutes and have a decent amount of the raw starter chucked in them. I'll make some of them today.

Good shout in the kimchi. Got to be nicer than the sauerkraut I made. I mean it's fine, it's fucking fermented cabbage, it's probably not meant to taste like dairy milk.

Have you got a recipe, spongebob? I'd give this a go. Is there a set time you leave it for?

Here you go. Takes a long time though so an early start reccomended, and dont lose your nerve on the salt, but you really need to rinse the cabbage well or it will be inedible
