Was the Mayfair on the site of what is now the Gate?.. 2. if the answer to that is yes, what the fuck was what is now the O2 called back then?... 3. Oh well... The recent(ish) Stephen Fry documentaries about homosexuality around the world, including some of the countries where there are laws against it, were pretty great (if difficult) viewing.
