themags 0
Premiership footballer Kevin Kyle has scalded his privates with boiling water in a bizarre accident. The Sunderland and Scotland striker was feeding his eight-month-old son Max when he was hurt. He had the youngster perched on his knee, while holding a jug of hot water to warm up a bottle of milk. But Max slipped and booted the jug - splashing water in his dad's lap, according to The Daily Mirror. It is understood to have burnt Kyle's testicles and his inner thigh. He went to hospital and was kept in overnight for observation. The burns were so severe the 24-year-old was forced to miss Saturday's 2-2 draw with Everton. A club insider said: "He is walking a bit like John Wayne at the moment. "He was struggling to move without pain, let alone run. But he is very embarrassed about this coming out." Max was not hurt in the incident.
