Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has warned any interested clubs off striker Craig Bellamy.

The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Bellamy following his impressive form this season.

Bellamy has been the driving force behind Blackburn's bid for a UEFA Champions League place next season scoring 15 goals already this term.

Hughes is determined to keep the former Newcastle man at Ewood Park and admits it take a major offer for him to even consider selling the jet-heeled forward.

"Craig is contracted to us and we're pleased about that," said Hughes.

"I don't even want to think about the prospect of another club coming knocking on the door for Craig at the end of the season.

"It would have to be a lot of money to get him, but at the moment it's definitely a case of hands off."

If they did sell him the fee would dwarf that which we got for him.

there is a buy out clause, to certain clubs one of which is us, for a minimum fee which is [obviously] more than they paid us for him

Such is the position that fuckwit put his club into by refusing to allow him back into the training ground when he was still contracted to the club

Isn't there a "sell-back"-clause?  ;)

There is according to some. Personally, I doubt it.

Putting a sell-back clause, or indeed a sell-on clause, considering the relative pittance we sold him for, would have been a very clever bit of buisness.

Therefore, I have absolute confidence that no such clauses exist, or were ever thought of.

Pretty confident that the existence of such a clause was invented by those who want a justifiable excuse to keep bleating on about a player who is no longer on our payroll.

LM, if you're so adamant that this clause exists, you won't have any problem finding conclusive evidence to support it and post it on here...

I shalln't hold my breath.

Can't see Chelsea being remotely interested. Liverpool maybe but it would mean Mourihno totally changing the way he played. He never even went in for Rooney for the same reason so why would he do it for Bellamy?
