Happy Face 29
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has placed a 40million euros (£31.5million) price-tag on unsettled Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho is believed to be heading for the Nou Camp exit door at the end of the season following an unsettled campaign in Spain where he has struggled for form and fitness. AC Milan were thought to be close to landing Ronaldinho's signature, but the move stalled over Barcelona's asking price. A number of Premier League club's have also been linked with a summer swoop, but Laporta is not willing to let Ronaldinho leave cheaply and has hinted that the 28-year-old could yet stay with Barcelona. "I only say that Ronaldinho is worth more than 40 million euros" Laporta said in Gazzetta dello Sport. "He has never created the slightest problem and I'm sure he will return to how he was before, as soon as he is well. "He just needs to find new motivation, but it's no foregone conclusion that he has to leave because he can find this with us, given that his contract runs until 2010." Laporta also confirmed that English clubs have shown an interest in Ronaldinho but he believes Milan remains his most likely destination, should the former Paris Saint-Germain star opt to leave. "We have had many offers from England, but Milan is the team who have showed the best interest," added Laporta. Big Mike must have that down the back of his sofa. Irrelevant when you consider the chances of Ronaldinho actually wanting to come here. I can understand a young up and coming like Modric turning us down when he's half the cost and has his pick. I think Owen has shown that a proven world class player will come here when he has no other options but to sit on the bench at a 'massive' club while the years pass him by. Ronaldinho is getting on. If we were the only club to offer silly money, I'd only be 99% sure he'd turn us down.

Barney 0
He might end up Kluivert like. He's a lazy bastard. Incredible amount of talent though. He never tracks back, so he wouldn't stand a chance in the Premier League. Edited April 29, 2008 by Barney

Quite clearly overrated over the past 4 years, as he was absolutely shocking at times, yet Ronaldo got all the blame, despite being the one consistently scoring. Barney 0
Guilleme Ballegue(sp) has Raul spot on when he says he's "10 out of 10 in no area of his game, but a 7 out of 7 in every aspect". When he first broke through I thought he was excellent. Bojan at Barca reminds me a bit of him. Anyone remember when Ronaldo won Player of the Year at Real Madrid, and when he was presented with the trophy on the pitch before a game, all the fans started chanting Raul's name?
