Lazarus 0
I heard that after she gave birth he was given the choice of saving his wife and letting the bairn die or saving the bairn and letting his wife die. Anyone know if this true? Edited March 29, 2006 by Lazarus

Kid Dynamite 7312
after shes given birth? surely they can save both cos they are now mutually exclusive. . . . . Unless they have some sort of shared lifesource that can only sustain one of them? like ET! she may have been advised to terminate the pregnancy for her own health but no doctor would tell the husband to choose between his wife and kid. Its his wifes choice legally. Edited March 29, 2006 by J69

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Compassion fatigue tbh. (the only situation I can think of where it would be a choice of one or the other is if they both need a transplant (say, kidney or bone-marrow) and he is the only match and can only give to one. Massively unlikely wouldn't you say?)

Guest alex
Souness should never have mentioned it in the first place to be honest, pretty crass of him to do so as it just seemed like an excuse to cover his own back.
