Besty 4
Many of the bookies are slashing the odds for George Graham to become the Toon's next manager. Rumours are going round that he will sign a 2 year contract and Shearer will take over after. Expected to sign within the next 48 hours. Jimbo 175
I hope to fuck its not him ! Martin O'Neill was spotted at Stamford Bridge last night, I hope it was to assess the Toon prior to signing for us !

adios 717
Sorry, wasn't the club that denied it, directly anyway. Meanwhile, United were left completely baffled by one statistic today when leading bookies William Hill shaved George Graham's odds from 20-1 to 5-4 favourite to be the club's next manager. I'm a big pal of Graham and we are in regular contact but there is absolutely no chance of the Scot taking over at St James' Park. http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcast...-name_page.html Alan Oliver said that yesterday, this has betting scam written all over it tbh. EDIT: Isegrim beat me to it; this story is also 3 days old, you know. Edited March 23, 2006 by DotBum
snakehips 0
SHIT! Have I made a mistake of gargantuan (a word that should have a lot more airings than it does, I'm sure you agree) proportions?? I have put my house, car and my entire life savings on Graham becoming our next manager, following the story on here and something I noticed in a Lithuanian newspaper.
