He came out and said although he was in London he was not interviewed for the England job, he revealed that he was actually attending a conference with none other than Sir Bobby Robson. So I’ve put 2 & 2 together and come up with the theory that Scolari has been approached by Fat Fred and has sought the advice of Sir Bobby about the “biggest job in football”. And I reckon Bobby would have said something along the lines of….if you succeed you’ll be a legend the like of which you’d never believe possible and even if you don’t you can take the club to court when they sack you and pocket a few million.
