Shearergol 0
Since it looks unlikely we'll sign him now, expect the next 6 months to see another fresh Souey/Freddy bashing about how this was just a "PR stunt". 8721 Any proof that it's not? 8726 The fact Real Madrid have confirmed this morning we're the only club to show any concrete interest in him? 8739 Not sure what that proves, unless of course we honestly believe that we could attract a player who left one team purely because he wanted to win things. If he rebuilds his reputation, one of the big clubs will just snatch him off us.
khay 10
Man Utd have say that have not moved for owen. Could just be real trying to up the price to make newcastle think they have to up their offer.

We might just get him by default.

wykikitoon 20150
Listening to Talksport this morning with Quinny, the more and more they talk about the pro's and cons about the Toon and Man Ure the more it favours us.

snakehips 0
If Owen comes here I promise to stop kicking cats for a whole year! I somehow think that my fur-covered astronauts will remain that way for some time! Hope I'm wrong though.

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
The Horse, Rooney and C.Ronaldo looked really good tonight. They won't want Owen (and Smith has come on for Keane in centre-mid too)

Shearergol 0
We can get Anelka cheaper perhaps? 9783 I would imagine that this whole Owen thing was maybe to try and force their hand in selling Anelka. Now they've apparently come back to us and are willing to discuss it. Seems the Anelka deal is the most likely of our transfers at the moment. Optimistic Nut 146
If we can get him in before Sunday, I'd be happy with it. Thankfully I finish work at 3 on Friday so should be back home just in time to watch the Press Conference. Anelka is probably a perfect type of player to fit the formation Souness seems to favour. Expect a lot of offsides though.
