Smooth Operator 10
...whenever a film/band/solo artist winS some highly regarded award such as an Oscar, Grammy or Brit, do the sales of the particular film/album go through the roof? Do some people need to be guided by such awards ceremonies to convince them they should buy it? I've just been reading how ever since Crash won the Oscar for Best Picture sales of the film have gone through the roof! Enlighten me Rob W. Papa Lazaru 0
Sadly it is blatantly the sheep thing. Though i'd say for a few people it is a case of hearing about something (through it winning an award) that they'd previously missed and thinking it may be worth a try, rather than just a mindless attitude of "that won so i have to go and see it" mindset.
