  Moi?

But where are the points coming from

Villa  (A).       0

Ipswich (H).  3

Brighton (A). Bogey team

Chelsea (H).  Nerves gone

Arsenal (A).   Isak head turned

We'll beat Ipswich, Chelsea, and Everton. Ipswich relegated and shit, Chelsea in poor form, Everton will be fully on the beach on the last day and it'll be a party atmosphere at SJP.

Minimum of a point from Brighton and Villa.

By the time we play Arsenal, they'll either be focused on a CL final or in the depths that they failed to make the final. I could see us going there and them not being able to match our intensity cos their season is over.

You're being ridiculous and totally underestimating this team to suggest that we can only beat a team in the bottom 3. If that was the case, we wouldn't be sitting

3rd in the table.

I think Villa will do us over the top.

2-0. Rashford, Malen.

This is our 3rd game in 6 days with pretty much the same 11. Villa have a deeper squad and can rotate a few.

Jesus Christ you're getting as pissy pants as CT.

Is this some number sequence from the 1% club?

How many Villa get is anyone’s guess … but we’re clearly due 6 :icon_lol:

I'd take a draw here although if we play to our ability we beat them. Fitness may decide who gets the points here. Gordon, Willock maybe even Miley off the bench could be important. We drop off considerably when subs come on so you hope those 3 catch a bit of form. I dont have any hope whatsoever left for Wilson and Longstaff, especially not off the bench.

Even IF we dont get the points its not the end of the world. Avoid injuries. One game a week after that and with everyone in full flow we'll blow away most teams and have enough for a CL finish,

Enough of this doom & gloom we’re playing superbly atm with a rock solid midfield 3-1 win for us

Get right into them from the start with the pace of Murphy and Barnes we’ll scare the shit out of them

I didn't realise Villa have got us tomorrow and then Man City away on Tuesday.

That's some run of games and great that those two are stealing points off one another.

Me either. If they lose to us and then City, it's over for them. Which on some level I'll appreciate because it means Emery won't have outdone Howe.

Reverse Fixtures of our run in;

3-0 win at home to villa

4-0 win away at ipswich

1-0 loss at home to brighton

2-1 loss away at chelsea

1-0 win at home to arsenal

0-0 away at everton

Those two losses came before the change in midfield and when we were in that absolutely dreadful to watch run in Sept/Oct.

We are absolutely cruising to this CL spot.

So it took Toontastic collapsing to end the King’s reign. Sad way to relinquish the throne.

Less said about the performance, the better. A game too far for a side unchanged for 7 games. Fair play to Villa, they bossed the game and looked fitter and fresher. Our defence looked old, slow and terrified of their pace.

Luckily we have Ipswich at home next. CL is still very much in our hands. Win two of next three games and we’ll be fine.

That was shit wannit?

Looked leggy in midfield, maybe a tweak instead of playing the same lineup would have helped? Hindsight and all that.

Murphy and Trips were run ragged.

Villa were decent

Ref was a cunt tho

They were really good btw. We looked like a team that had persisted with a starting 11 to the point of exhaustion.

That's no criticism of Tindall, there was no obvious reason to change after Palace, but it just caught up with us. Their subs compared to ours underlined how important having a squad is. Villa have a women's team to sell to dig themselves out of their latest PSR hole, after filing a 13 month year in their accounts to get out of their last one.

Joelinton in particular yesterday, couldn't weight a pass to save his life and Bruno wasn't much better. His booking was fucking idiotic - it's days like yesterday where he let's the emotions get the better of him, that you need a Trippier there as a backup captain.
