If you can present me with a decent Man United fan, and I can be convinced over a period of time that they don't feel they are inherently better than us, and that they don't have some kind of divine right to be in the mix for the title every season..... Then, and only then, will I see if I can conjure up some sympathy for them.

Until such time, they can allllll fuuuuuuuck offffffffff and fucking suck up being a little bit SHIT for a while. They're still in the latter stages of a European competition as it stands, and they haven't been relegated in 50 years. They're not even having it that fucking hard at the minute. Get them all to fuck.

I know of one who, surprise, surprise, has lived his entire existence in the south of England. He is conciliatory and fully accepting of their position though and says he's grateful for the good times they had but they are where they are now on merit. He did advocate them bringing Ronaldo back but accepts now it was a fucking disaster.

Man U were canny shit for the first decade and a bit of my life. They had two incredible decades in the 90s/00s under fergie but the amount of airtime they get, despite not doing much for over a decade now, makes their demise all the more amusing.

Fuck them. They don’t know what following a shite team really feels like. A few more years of mediocrity won’t do them any harm. It’s character building. No club is entitled to success, despite what the “big six” twats say. Cry me a river for Man U fans

My father in law is a Man Utd fan. He’s a sound bloke and I really like him , but every time I see him he sounds off about their “troubles” I just say “yeah, it’s class isn’t it?”

I started watching football in 1986 and they were dogshit. We were awful ourselves but I seem to recall we tended to win home matches against then and typical be served our arses at OT.

And I completely agree. The issue I have is the media darlings will soon revert to the "it's been xx years since Man Utd won the title ... that's too long for a club their size, etc, etc....." That shit was reeking back in the late 80s, we don't need to hear about it these days as well.

Along similar lines, a mate pointed out that the season after next will be 100 years since we last won the title - be quite poetic if we managed to nail it on the anniversary (course, delivering it 12 months earlier wouldn't be a bad thing either!)

Their latest - and by latest I mean a good 5 years worth - cuntishness has been protesting about the Glazers not spending enough despite them actually out-spending every fucker else.

Their divine-righteousness is equal to the scouse cunts.

I will say mind, if you look at their forums... they look like broken men. They've been humbled, at least a large part of their userbase anyway. The stupid thing about that club is that it was too arrogant to understand that it needed a few years in the wilderness in order to get anywhere near challenging again after Ferguson went. Say 5 years where they're just focusing on rebuild with a good manager, and they'd be back at the top table by now. Instead they've fucked around for a decade raging against the dying of the light, only to come to the same point they needed to ten years ago, but without any of the planning and clever management that it would require.

Yeah Goldbridge is a good example of that. His reactions to Man Utd fucking a game up these days seem almost staged - as if he's expecting it and would be in some respects disappointed if they didn't.

Contrast that to 3-4 years ago when his meltdowns seemed utterly genuine and with it, funnier.

Man United? Fuck 'em. The sooner the UK media get their heads around the fact of them being shit and the fact everyone else doesn't want to hear why their ex-player pundits think they're shite.... EVERY FUCKING WEEK WHEN THEY'RE BEAT, the better. :good:

The media is all about ratings and clicks and Man U is the best supported club in the country. Look at how long Liverpool were just above average yet you never would have guessed it by the volume of ex-Liverpool players in the media. Just enjoy their downfall because you’re not going to stop hearing about them any time soon.

Being objective for a moment, how they've treated Ferguson is an utter disgrace when you consider all he did to put the club in the position it was when they inherited it.

Wasn't included in Match Cam. Wasted opportunity for some bonus content right there.

Fernandes aside, I think they're a piss-poor squad.

Amorin's had one January transfer window which is known to be typically difficult to do anything aside from picking off unwanted players here and there. Also he had to do so in a climate where Ratcliffe is cutting costs across the club and not giving a fuck who he upsets in the process.

Being objective for a moment, how they've treated Ferguson is an utter disgrace when you consider all he did to put the club in the position it was when they inherited it.

It's too early IMO to judge Amorin. It'll be interesting to see what the summer brings and whether he can make his own mark - I think the club is ultimately still suffering from the call to bring Ronaldo back to the club.

Personally I couldn't care less about whether they plateau or crash and burn but again speaking objectively, there are some decent Man Utd fans out there who are having to experience a club being run like a crock of shit. We've been there and experienced it ourselves so I have some empathy.

I'm still sure that Man City's interest was merely a wind up for just this outcome

@LondonBlue?
