Leicester City v Sir Eddie's champions league-chasing mags - long live our noble king

I'll accept whatever Howe decides as long as we win. Despite how up and down we've been this season we have a great chance to secure CL football and he needs to do whatever it's gonna take.

Hopefully Gordon is determined to contribute over and above his previous level to make up for what happened.

Thing is, we HAVE TO take advantage of the weekend's results. I would put the same team out as last Wednesday if we can, and I'd give Gordon the second half in place of Isak if we're cruising.

Start Isak, he’s plainly being “managed” ie he can’t do more than an hour. Osula isn’t trusted at this level yet, disappointing but I really don’t think Howe will see him as a centre forward for at least 18 months, he’s an option at right midfield. Start Barnes, replace Isak with Gordon for fresh legs. If Wilson had buried that chance v Brentford the conversation around him would be very different; there’s not a lot to say he won’t score such a chance this week… certainly can’t see a future here for him beyond May but let’s see how he goes…it might just take him getting a single goal for his confidence to go through the roof….

I think at this point we can manage losing any player for a game or two and still stay in the CL running, except Isak. The absences of Gordon and Hall have shown that and while losing Bruno/Joe/Tonali would be a big blow we'd still have enough to give anyone a game.

This might be the one game you'd think of resting/not risking Isak if Gordon and Barnes are fit with a view to the run in. Imo whether we finish 4/5th or not rests squarely on if Isak stays fit.

Just put on MNF, just Jones, 'Carra' and Bellamy laughing at how many goals Southampton have conceded now they're relegated and laughing at other all time poor PL teams like Swindon. I'd fucking love to see them all shits and giggles if one of their own beloved teams went pear shaped and got relegated. What a pack of cunts these are on sky.

No easy games I suppose, even when the bottom sides are as shite as these. But even if we play with a little bit of confidence we should have enough for a win here and the motivation should be there to get into the CL spots. Avoiding injuries hopefully will be the other big one. Disappointed to see Gordon out but hopefully that's just us being careful.

Imagine, (MLF klaxon but hear me out), Manchester United or Liverpool were playing tonight, does anyone think for a millisecond that they'd be talking about villa v forest with twenty minutes to KO?
