mine doesn’t 😬

Try loading the page again.

Took 2-3 goes for mine to kick in.

If not, it’s a paragraph on Tonali being mint, then 10 paragraphs of his Mam’s carbonara recipe.

Isak described as the "170 million euro centre forward" in that article. These Italians know their onions. And that is now the going rate for anyone that wants him this summer.

Guarantee everyone who registered an interest gets tickets so now I have 4 more tickets (registered as a member and general sale) than I need for a thing I didn’t want to attend only for them to do the fucking open top bus parade anyway.

Yesterday my dad conspired to have a fall and smash his remaining good hip, so I'm in town all week to babysit my mother while the RVI works its magic. The one and only upside is I might be able to wangle an hour's time off to mosey on past Blue House Roundabout (not a euphemism... yet) and relive those 1993 glory days

Sorry to hear of your dad’s spot of bother @Meenzer hopefully the entourage will be going as far as Blue House for you….

Am going to be in town…it’ll be fucking bedlam, am not sure where the best vantage point would be, not sure there is one bar “turn up early”…

Is the expectation really that 100k people turn out..? That's stunning tbh.

talking ro me old man last night about the bus parade to greet the players after the losing '74 cup final.

I remember the 11 yr old me on the pitch with me brother who was 8, a mate called bill conroy, (now sadly departed, his uncle owned a furniture shop, seem to recall they had an advertising hoarding at the back of the gallowgate and were often matchday/ball sponsors) and me dad.

the players came out on the west stand.

me old man reckons it was reported that there was 250,000 lined the streets or in the ground.

I would say 100,000 would be a poor turn out to be honest!  :)

The 100,000 number is after RTG has blackballed everyone who lives outside a three mile radius of SJP (where it doesn't cross the Tyne). :good:

there is one very clear and obvious place to view proceedings worthy of consideration. here....

have the club said anything with regard to showing the cup at the brentford game?

I'd like to think they would at full time, or at least I hope so!

same! pre-kick off maybe. might be a bit of a funny one to parade it after the match if we lose

aye, but then equally i can't imagine howe wanting any distraction before the game itself.

talking to me brother yesterday about it and his theory was that they might display st the ground after the last home game of the season instead.

Aye, if it's on show pre match it'll be tbd's favourite man, Darren Eales, flapping it about. Or maybe the injured/suspended lads.

But it won't be much of a celebration. Better to just leave it to the last day of the season when hopefully CL is secured as well.
